We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
What is the studio policy on minors under 18 years old?
- Children ages 12 and under are not permitted to attend classes at the studio.
- Children between 13 and 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Children 16 and over must attend their first class with a parent or guardian present, after which they may attend future classes on their own.
An additional hard copy waiver for each minor must be signed by a legal parent or guardian. A profile must be created for each minor. However, minors are not permitted to make reservations or pay for pricing options through their profile. The legal parent or guardian must register the minor "as a guest" using the legal parent or guardian's own registered account and pay for any pricing option(s) using the legal parent or guardian's own registered account.
Under no circumstances should minors under the age of 16 not registered for class be left unattended in the lobby.

We are committed to providing a secure and welcoming environment for every member of our community. We support and respect transgender people's ability to use the restroom or locker room that corresponds with their gender identity in accordance with New York State and New York City laws. Our studio is identified with signs that makes this policy clear. We also have an all-gender restroom that students are more than welcome to use before and after class to change instead of using the locker room.
I'm submitting a gym reimbursement claim with my insurance or employer. How can I get my attendance history?
You may submit your request by emailing us with the dates of service you are required to submit. If any additional forms need to be signed by management, attach the completed form to your email as well. Please allow 7 business days (excluding weekends) to process your request.

How soon can I make a reservation for class?
You may book a class starting 7 days before. Students with memberships have priority booking privileges and may begin booking 14 days before. Workshops are typically open for booking 30 days in advance.
How many classes can I take in one day?
No more than two classes per day. At the discretion of management, we may require you to supply us with a doctor's note to ensure you are fit enough to take to two classes per day.
What is your late-cancel/no-show policy for classes?
You must cancel your class reservation prior to the late cancellation window outlined below to avoid a penalty. Students with class cards, class packs, and new student packages will lose the class credit. Members will be charged a $10 Late-Cancel/No Show Fee AND lose the class credit.

What happens when I early-cancel a class reservation?
Nothing. The class is returned to your studio account as long the reservation is cancelled outside the late-cancel window.
What is the wait-list policy?
Staff begin giving away spots to students on the wait list 5 minutes before the start of class in the order each reservation was made. You must be present and on the waitlist when your name is called to be admitted into class. We kindly ask that you do not change or set yourself up in the yoga room until you have been admitted into the class by a staff member.
If you’ve made an online reservation and have not checked in 5 minutes prior to class start time, your spot may be given to a student on the waitlist. Even if we give your spot away, you are still subject to the Studio's late-cancel/no-show policies.

I see that the class if full. Can I add myself to the waitlist?
I'm on the wait-list. Will I be alerted when I'm off the wait-list? Should I show up for class?
We make every effort to get students on the wait list into class. The system will automatically alert you at least 3 hours prior via email if you have been removed from the waitlist and have been enrolled into the class.
If you have not been alerted via email before the 3 hour contact window, you are more than welcome to visit the studio and try to be admitted into class via our in-studio wait-list policy.

The waitlist is full. Will I be able to take class?
I booked a workshop, seminar, or meditation. I can't attend anymore. What can I do?
You must cancel your workshop reservation at least 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop to avoid a penalty. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will loose the workshop credit. If you cancel ahead of the cancelation window, the credit will be returned to your account to book another workshop, seminar, or meditation. You may also request that an account credit be placed on your BYL account for the value you paid. Please email the Support Team to process your request.

To check the specific expiration date of your class card, open the BYL mobile app. Under the "Memberships and Credits" section of your customer profile, you will be able to see all ACTIVE class cards with displaying the number of credits remaining and the expiration date. The number of credits remaining is inclusive of all past and future reservations.

Class packs and promotional offers are valid for a set period time determined at time of sale. Please review carefully before purchasing as unused classes WILL EXPIRE on the expiration date and in most cases, CANNOT be extended.

My class card or class pack expired. What can I do?
Remaining credits on class cards purchased after October 5, 2022 may be rolled over with the purchase of a new class card plus a $25 class card rollover fee. Rollover credits will expire 90 days from the date of processing and cannot be rolled over again. Note: You must have a credit card on file in order for us to process your request.

Can I use a class from my class card to register for a Community Class?
Note that some credits from Class Cards are have a higher per class rate than the price of a single Community Class. Due to overwhelming requests, we are allowing students with class cards to book into these classes. If you wish to pay the lower price, you must buy the “Single Community Class” first on the Buy Page, then book the reservation and select your recently purchased credit option when making your class reservation.
Can I share my class card with someone?
Class cards cannot be shared, however, you may register guests with your class card using the "Bring a Guest" feature in the mobile app. You may register a guest even if you are not attending the class yourself.

Memberships
What are the terms and conditions of my membership?
All AUTO-RENEWING MEMBERSHIPS require a minimum 2-Month Commitment at contract signing and auto-renew monthly until cancelled. Each membership entitles you up to a certain number of classes per billing cycle as stated at time of purchase. Unused classes expire at the end of the billing cycle and cannot be rolled over.

- All active memberships required you to store a credit card on file. You can update your credit card online or in the mobile app in your student profile.

Can I share my membership with someone else?
No, memberships are non-transferable and can only be used by the account holder. However, you can purchase gift cards for friends and family, which they can use toward their own memberships or class packs.
I want to bring my friend to class. How do I bring a guest using my membership benefit?
If your membership package includes guest privileges, you can use the "Bring a Guest" feature in the mobile app. Both you and the guest must be enrolled in the same class to use this feature. Simply enter the guest's email and tap reserve. If your guest has never been to the studio before, please instruct them to create a profile prior to arrival.

What if I have unused classes at the end of my billing cycle?
Unused classes in your membership will expire at the end of the billing cycle. We recommend using your classes within the designated 30-day billing cycle. Expired classes cannot be refunded or extended.

If you have exhausted your membership credits for your billing cycle, members can purchase additional classes at a discounted rate. Simply purchase a 'Single Class' and the discount will automatically be applied at checkout.

I've exhausted my classes and want to take class on my billing cycle date. Can I do that?
Yes, but you will need to purchase an additional class using your membership discount. Auto-renewing membership payments process on the last day of your billing cycle. You may use your class credits from your next cycle the following day. For example, if your billing cycle ends on May 1. You will be billed on May 1 and may use those credits starting May 2.
How do I take advantage of my membership benefits?
Most memberships also have additional benefits including discounts on workshops, retail items, and guest reservations. Effective April 1, 2024, member discounts are outlined below.

Retail discounts have some exclusions including books, beverages, snacks, and electrolytes. Discounts are automatically applied at checkout. Please note that membership discounts can not be combined with any other offers, discounts, or promotions. Whichever discount is higher will be applied to your purchase.
Can I use one of my membership credits to attend a workshop, meditation, or seminar?
No. Workshops credits must be purchased separately. Some memberships include discounts on select workshop, meditation, and/or seminar credits.
I have a multi-month membership. Does it auto-renew?
3-Month, 6-Month and Annual Premier memberships DO NOT auto-renew.
